Terms and Conditions

Ballevity Terms & Conditions of Sale

20 October 2026

1. About us and these terms

1.1 Ballevity is a product of spaceBEAR Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17489577. Our registered office is 1st Floor, 7 Lion Street, Abergavenny NP7 5PH. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean spaceBEAR Limited, trading as Ballevity.

1.2 You can contact us by email at [email protected]. If we need to contact you, we will use the email address or phone number you gave us with your order.

1.3 These terms apply to every order you place for Ballevity products through our website, ballevity.com. Please read them before ordering. You will be asked to confirm that you accept them at checkout.

1.4 These terms are for consumers buying for personal use. If you are buying for a business, club or other organisation, please contact us first, as some of these terms (including your cancellation rights) apply only to consumers.

1.5 If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian to place an order. Products can be used by players of any age, subject to section 8.

1.6 These terms are in English. We may update them from time to time. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order.

2. The product

2.1 Ballevity is a reusable, 3D-printed device designed to help restore the surface texture of squash balls that have become smooth and shiny with use. It is designed and made by us.

2.2 We sell two versions:

  • Standard unit — our standard design and colours.
  • Customised unit — made to your choices, such as a name, initials, text, logo or colour combination you specify (a "personalised product").

2.3 Because each product is 3D-printed, small variations in colour, layer texture and finish are normal and are not a fault. Product images on our website are for illustration. Colours on screen may differ slightly from the finished item.

2.4 Results depend on the condition, brand and age of the ball and how the product is used. Ballevity does not repair damaged, split or worn-through balls, and it does not change the official specification of any ball.

2.5 Materials: the product is 3D-printed from PLA (polylactic acid), a plastic made from plant starch and TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane).

3. Ordering and how the contract is formed

3.1 To order, add products to your basket, enter any personalisation details, provide your delivery details and pay at checkout. You can review and correct your order, including any personalisation text, before you press the button to place it.

3.2 Placing an order is an offer to buy. We will email you to acknowledge it. The contract between you and us is formed only when we email you to confirm we have accepted your order (the "Order Confirmation").

3.3 We keep a record of your order. Your Order Confirmation will include these terms, or a link to them, so you can keep a copy.

3.4 We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if there is an error in the price or description, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if personalisation content breaks section 10. If we decline after taking payment, we will refund you in full.

3.5 Personalisation: please check spelling and details carefully. We will make the product exactly as you entered it, and we cannot accept returns for errors in details you supplied.

4. Prices, payment and discount codes

4.1 Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) on our website and [include VAT where applicable]. The total you pay, including delivery charges and any other mandatory charges, is shown before you place your order. We will not add charges you were not shown.

4.2 The price you pay is the price shown when you placed your order. If we have made an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before accepting your order, and you can choose to cancel or continue at the correct price.

4.3 Payment is taken by card at checkout. Card payments are processed by our payment provider, Revolut Business. We do not see or store your full card details.

4.4 Discount codes. We may offer codes, for example for coach referrals or repeat customers. Unless a code says otherwise:

  • only one code can be used per order, and codes cannot be combined with each other or with other offers;
  • codes have no cash value and cannot be applied to past orders;
  • a code must be entered at checkout before you place your order;
  • we may withdraw or refuse a code that has been misused, copied without authorisation or published in breach of its conditions.

5. Delivery and risk

5.1 We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom. Delivery charges and estimated timescales are shown at checkout.

5.2 Standard units are usually dispatched within 3 working days. Customised units are made to order and are usually dispatched within 5 working days. Unless we agree otherwise, we will deliver within 30 days of the Order Confirmation.

5.3 If delivery is delayed by events outside our control, see section 12. If we miss the agreed delivery date, or 30 days if no date was agreed, you may be able to treat the contract as at an end and receive a full refund, as set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

5.4 The products become your responsibility, and you own them, once they are delivered to the address you gave us, or collected by someone you nominated.

5.5 If no one is available to receive a delivery that needs a signature, follow the carrier's instructions to rearrange delivery or collection.

6. Your right to cancel

6.1 Standard units: you can change your mind and cancel your contract within 14 days, without giving a reason. The 14 days start on the day after you (or someone you nominate) receive the products. If your order is delivered in several parts, they start the day after you receive the last part.

6.2 Customised units: the right to cancel does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. This is set out in the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You can still cancel a customised order free of charge before we start making it; email us as soon as possible. Your rights if a customised unit is faulty are not affected (section 7).

6.3 How to cancel: tell us clearly before the 14 days end, by email to [email protected]. You can use the model cancellation form in the Appendix, but you don't have to.

6.4 Returning the products: send the products back to returns address within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling. Please use a tracked service, as the products remain your responsibility until they reach us.

6.5 Your refund: we will refund the price you paid for the products and the standard delivery charge. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we refund only the cost of our cheapest standard option. We will refund within 14 days of receiving the products back, or of you providing evidence that you have sent them, whichever is earlier. Refunds go to the payment method you used.

6.6 Handling while you decide: you may handle and examine the product as you would in a shop. If the product has been used beyond that or damaged, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value.

7. Faulty or incorrect goods — your legal rights

7.1 We are under a legal duty to supply products that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. In summary:

When you tell us

Your main remedy

Within 30 days of delivery

Reject the product and get a full refund

After 30 days, or if you choose

We repair or replace it at no cost to you

If repair or replacement isn't possible or fails

A price reduction, or a refund (which may be reduced for use after 6 months)

7.2 If a fault appears within 6 months of delivery, it is presumed to have been there on delivery unless we can show otherwise. After 6 months, you may need to show the fault was present at delivery. You can bring a claim up to 6 years after delivery (5 years in Scotland).

7.3 If you think a product is faulty or not what you ordered, email [email protected] with your order number and, where possible, photos. We will pay reasonable costs of returning faulty goods.

7.4 These rights do not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by accident, misuse or not following our instructions, or the normal variations in 3D-printed finish described in section 2.3. For more detail about your rights, contact Citizens Advice.

8. Using the product safely

8.1 Please follow the instructions supplied with the product and on our website.

8.2  Keep it away from children under 3. Children should use the product only under adult supervision.

8.3 Use the product only on squash balls, for its intended purpose. Do not modify it, heat it or expose it to solvents. Keep it away from high temperatures, such as direct sunlight, a hot car, radiators or other heat sources, as the plastic can soften or warp.

8.4 Cleaning: do not put the product in a dishwasher. Clean it by hand with lukewarm water and a mild washing-up liquid, then let it dry fully. Do not use hot water, bleach or abrasive cleaners.

8.5 Stop using the product if it becomes cracked, sharp or damaged, and contact us.

9. Our liability

9.1 If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence. Loss is foreseeable if it is obvious it would happen, or if both of us knew it might happen when the contract was made.

9.2 We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products (section 7), and for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.

9.3 We supply the products for domestic and private use only. We are not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

10. Intellectual property and personalisation content

10.1 The Ballevity name, logo, product design, website content and all related intellectual property belong to spaceBEAR Limited [or its group companies]. Buying a product does not give you any rights in them. You may not copy, reproduce, scan or 3D-print copies of the product design.

10.2 When you supply text, names or images for a customised unit, you confirm that you have the right to use them. You also confirm that they do not infringe anyone else's rights, such as trade marks, club crests or copyright.

10.3 We may refuse to make a customised unit if the content is offensive, unlawful, or appears to infringe someone else's rights. If so, we will contact you and refund you in full if we cannot agree an alternative.

11. Privacy

11.1 We use your personal information only as set out in our privacy policy, which covers spaceBEAR, Ballevity and our other products: Privacy Policy.

12. Events outside our control

12.1 We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as carrier or postal disruption, supplier failures, severe weather, power or internet outages, or industrial action.

12.2 If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible and take steps to minimise the delay. If the delay is likely to be substantial, you can cancel and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.

13. Complaints, governing law and general

13.1 Complaints: if you are unhappy, please email [email protected] with your order number. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and resolve them within 14 days.

13.2 Governing law: these terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in the courts of your home nation.

13.3 Transfer: we may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, such as another spaceBEAR group company. We will tell you if this happens, and it will not affect your rights.

13.4 Third parties: nobody else has rights under this contract.

13.5 Severability: if a court finds part of these terms unlawful, the rest will continue in force.

13.6 Delay: if we do not insist straight away on you doing something you are required to do, we can still require you to do it later.

Appendix: model cancellation form

Complete and return this form only if you wish to cancel your contract (standard units only).
